Ship Review: Our room had no air conditioner so we had to get a fan... guest services never tried to rectify the situation despite about 40 complaints. this ship sucked. wouldn't go back on it even if it was free...

Ship Review: Went on this trip not expecting much as I had been told that the food was terrible and the service even worse. I was pleasantly surprised that both exceeded my expectations. We had a balcony cabin which, while showing some wear and tear for a ship of its age, was full functional; granted, the television must have been the smallest color tv available at the time it was installed. The bathroom was great - the shower was HUGE and liked the extra door between the toilet and the sink, but really, who's going to let someone in there to brush his or her teeth while you're sitting on the loo?

Ship Review: Our "VISTA" SUITE was very disappointing. There is an OBSTRUCTED "VISTA" which our agent did not tell us about. (Nor does the Princess web site indicate.) The layout is awkward, the verandah very small and dificult to navigate becase of a large steel support beam. The bathroom is poorly designed, at best; poor lighting (difficult to see your face when shaving) with absolutely NO SHELVING or storage space, even though there is pleanty of room for these important items. Had we known this we would NOT have booked this suite. And whose idea was it to place the LIBRARY and INTERNET CAFE right next to the extremely noisy PIAZZA? Every venue throughout the ship is overly amplified; does Princess think we are all hard of hearing? Food just OK, excellent service. We had to request fresh flowers and fruit when they should have been provided for us. Although Princess is our cruise line of choice, we cannot recommend this ship.

Ship Review: Larger ships, such as the Coral Princess are not our first choice but we found the layout and arrangements of public rooms acceptable. Verandah is well appointed and good size.

Ship Review: Our suite was well designed and appointed with a large, wrap-around verandah, which could use more comfortable lounges. Excellent food, both in dining room and specialty restaurants.

Ship Review: Beautiful ship, but our SKY SUITE had a large over-hang on the verandah, blocking sun. We had to use the open decks for sunbathing. Food in the dining room is mediocre and the service poor... very unexpected!
