Okay I have only been on a few cruises, and absolutely loved them. I wanted to take my Mother on one for her 40th Birthday so I figured this 11 day one would be fabulous.

I personally have only sailed from Galveston, TX on the Magic & Triumph.

I will however be doing one from California prior to this one.

I guess what I am wanting to know is what should I expect on a cruise like this?

I have no idea what crowd will be on an 11 day cruise that takes place while most people have work and/or school.

When I spoke to Carnival to book the cruise they told me they only have this sailing every few years, so I wouldn't be seeing another like it by them for awhile. I found zero reviews on this trip, and have no clue what kind of itinerary to expect on the cruise for this long period of time.

My longest sailing was 7 days, I feel I packed fine, and had a great time!

However with an 11 day cruise what should I maybe add to the packing list or keep in mind?

All advice would be fantastic!!!!

The Legend is my favorite of the Carnival ships. Yes it is true that this 11 day cruise only happens when a ship is coming back from Europe. You can expect sea days where you can relax or be as active as you like. The ports of call should be beautiful with blue skys and blue seas.
As for packing. Pack what you would for a 7 day cruise. There are washer and dryers on the ship and you can do a load or two if you run out of clothing.
